Today as I was contemplating the thought of the VEISHA parade with snow I reflected on all of the things that I love about spring!  Spring brings with it just so much activity and I think that as Iowans we need that.  We’ve been sitting inside all of these long cold months and now we have the chance to get outside and do something!  For me spring has meant that I have been remodeling my house, I’ll probably devote a whole blog post to that later, but it also means soccer, t-ball, and softball for my kids, it means Saturday afternoon bike rides, and Sunday afternoon naps in the sun.  (I guess the Sunday afternoon nap thing really hasn’t changed all that much from winter;) lawn mowing will now become a weekend ritual that will evolve into a weekend chore and finally culminate with being a weekly torture device that I submit myself to every weekend, but for now I’m looking forward to it!
