As a resident Iowan I can not help but go through the winter months and comment on the weather.  It has of course been bitterly cold and at times the snow has seemed like it is stuck on repeat.  Yet today I realized that January is almost over!  That means that we have February ahead and then it is March!  Now we all realize that March can have it’s fair share of snow, but it can also have it’s fair share of sun and warmth.  Also, let’s face it, February is the shortest month of the year.  So to sum it all up, this winter is almost over!  Well, OK, maybe it doesn’t seem like it’s almost over but I have the feeling that we must be over half way through it.
